          • - No paper and pen provided for hard puzzles

(Disclaimer: I have never played Resident Evil, so I’m evaluating this room as an escape room only. I cannot speak to how well it relates to Resident Evil.)

This room was hard to score – I didn’t hate the room, but it was also a rather “meh” experience. While there a couple of “Okay, that’s kinda neat” moments, there were definitely more “You’ve got to be kidding me” moments. The latter applied to two of their puzzles, which many would find difficult. But to top it off, we were expected to work these puzzles out in our heads, which made them that much harder. I also made this same remark regarding one of the pieces of equipment, which was slow beyond belief.

In regards to the former statement (“Okay, that’s kinda neat”), there was one piece of equipment which was different, and the puzzle was decent. However, it malfunctioned and gave us the next piece needed, even though we put in the wrong answer.

This room definitely has potential to be a better room. But for now, I shall leave the ranking as is.
