          Pros

          • - Refreshing, creative theme
          • - Puzzles related back to theme

          Cons

          • - One puzzle hard to execute well

This was my first carnival-themed room, and after playing it, I’m wondering why it’s not a more common theme. It’s a setting that lends itself well to having puzzles and tasks to complete, not to mention a touch of scariness with clowns and all. As with most of Perplexity‘s other games, the décor was nicely done and it did indeed feel like an abandoned carnival.

In terms of puzzles, our team found them straightforward for the most part. There were a few tricky ones, but nothing that required a logic leap. There was one puzzle that required precision to execute it properly, and that is pretty much the only complaint I have about this room. The rest of the tasks/puzzles were fair and fun, and there was enough to keep our team of 4 busy.

This room is suitable for more experienced players, as there are lots of puzzles and they’re not simple. The good part though is that it’s a 75-minute room, so you do get sufficient time to work your way through. The Last Laugh is a great room, and I would recommend it if you’re looking for a fun and challenging game.
