          Pros

          • - Great atmosphere
          • - Puzzle direction was clear

          Cons

          • - Cannot accommodate a large group

Having thoroughly enjoyed the set for Final Destination, I was eager to come back to play the other rooms at Roundabout. And they did not disappoint! The set had the look and feel of a butcher’s shop, and just enough extra elements to give it an eerie atmosphere. Other than the room being a bit tight, there really is nothing else to complain about.

The puzzles were pretty straightforward, and for the most part, it was clear what needed to be tackled when. There was just one puzzle that didn’t seem to tie into the theme (no big deal), but the rest fit into the theme nicely. We also appreciated that things that were not meant to be moved were bolted or glued down, so that we didn’t waste time with these items. Seems like a minor thing, but there are actually very few companies that will take the time and effort to do this.

Like Final Destination, the difficulty level of this room is probably more suitable for beginners. However, I still recommend Butcher’s Basement to players of any level, because it’s a fun and well-designed room!
