          Pros

          • - Efficient use of space
          • - Décor matched with theme

          Cons

          • - Equipment difficult to use

We decided to try AT Escape because there was a Groupon deal going on, and for the most part, it got good reviews on its Facebook page. This particular room, BioLab Extraction, boasted a rather low escape rate, so we put ourselves up for the challenge!

When we got to the room, we were quite impressed with the overall design! It was a small space, but they made good use of it and decorated it nicely. The décor really made the room feel like a lab and most of the puzzles were relevant to the theme. They even provided lab coats, which made the experience even more realistic.

We did hit a bit of a bump though, in that one of the puzzles was not reset after the last team played it. So, we wasted some time trying to work out an alternate solution, only to discover that the original configuration was correct. Another source of frustration was with one of the pieces of equipment. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that too much time was spent on working out the exact way to use it.

The group that played this room before us told us that it was impossible, but I don’t agree. While this room is more on the difficult side, it’s definitely doable, especially if they’re able to improve on the equipment a bit.
